Please join us for a wonderful day in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California on October 2, 2010.
Carmel-by-the-Sea is a dog-friendly town. Dogs can run without leashes on the beach,
and they are welcome at many local hotels and restaurants.
Who is invited? Standard, miniature, toy and mixed poodles.
The event will consist of a Poodle Parade at the Crossroads in Carmel, CA , Poodle Play at the Carmel Beach, and Poodle Cocktail Parties at the Cypress Inn and Forge In The Forest in Carmel By-The-Sea, CA.
We have organized this event purely and simply for the love of poodles. We own two
Standard Poodles, and have a Standard Poodle “grand dog”! We believe Carmel to be one of the world’s most beautiful places and would like to share its allure with other poodles and
their owners. We are not affiliated with any of the business vendors listed in this web site.
Invited to participate, NorCal Poodle Rescue, founded 25 years ago, is a group of volunteers
who rescue, rehabilitate and find new homes for more than 100 poodles and poodle mixes each
year. Serving Northern California and Southern Oregon, they rescue and place standard,
miniature and toy poodles, as well as poodle mixes, in loving homes. NorCal Poodle
Rescue responds to county shelters, humane societies and
individuals via their website and phone hotline. Each poodle
is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and groomed before
adoption. In addition, they provide extensive medical
care, fostering, and training if needed
before placement. There is a return
policy in the event that a poodle
placement doesn’t work out.
