Fabulous cocktail parties conclude the Poodle Day festivities and allow tired poodles to relax in luxury while their human companions enjoy beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and conversation. Please note there is limited seating at these parties.
The party at Bistro Beaujolais, located at Ocean Avenue and Mission Street in the Carmel Plaza, will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and feature hors d’oeuvres and two glasses of wine or soft drinks. The cost for this event is $32 per person. This year we will have a poodle fashion show presented by Diggity Dog at this location.
The Cypress Inn, located at 7th and Lincoln Streets in Carmel-by-the-Sea, will host a cocktail party from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring hors d’oeuvres and two glasses of wine, beer, or soft drinks. The cost for this event is $32 per person. SOLD OUT!
The Forge in the Forest, located on Junipero Street and 5th Avenue, will host a cocktail party from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m featuring hors d’oeuvers and two glasses of wine, beer or soft drinks. The cost for this event is $32 per person.
Advance payment — per person — is required for all cocktail parties. Cocktail party attendees will need to pick up their drink tickets at the morning event, which will grant them admission to the parties, at their respective cocktail party. Dogs are welcome to attend the parties.
Due to the demand of the Poodle Day cocktail parties effective April 1, 2013, only registered attendees are invited to attend the poodle day cocktail parties. Should someone book a reservation without being registered for the morning parade event, a refund will be issued with a few days of payment.
Payments for Poodle Day Cocktail Parties can be made at the same time registration is completed. To add a cocktail party at a different time, just go to your account update on the morning event page.
The cocktail parties cancellation deadline is Oct. 2, 2013, at that time we pay the restaurants .
