POODLE DAY
CARMEL, CALIFORNIA

Dear Poodle and Poodle Mix Lovers,

🐩 We are gearing up for Poodle Day 2026 in Carmel, CA.  The date of the parade is October 3, 2026.

This will be the last Poodle Day in Carmel, California. Don and I have sold our home in Carmel, CA, which makes it harder for us to do an event there. We have moved to the California Desert and will be enjoying warmer winters and more golf.

We want to thank the wonderful management and staff of The Crossroads Shopping center for 17 years! They are the best! This event would not have been possible without their support.

📅 Registrations for the final Poodle Day in Carmel 2026 will open on July 31, 2026.

🥂 This year’s parties start on October 2, 2026, at Allegro Pizza, Chalone Tasting Room and Mad Dog and Englishman all at 5pm to 7pm.  Then on October 3, 2026, this year’s event we will have the Cypress Inn and Vin by the Sea parties at 4pm to 6pm. The Crossroads BBQ dinners are from 5pm to 7pm. For more information on these parties please see this year’s parties on our website.

This year we have made major changes to the parade event.  Here are the changes:

• There will no longer be affinity groups. 👪
• Photos will only be taken for the winners of the parade.  However, there will be a Poodle Day backdrop for selfies. 📸
• Winners must be present and have their photo taken for the website to receive their prizes. For more information on the prizes see our information on our terms and conditions page. 🏆

Our photographer will be offering private photo session signups at a later date.  She will be available on Friday, Oct 2, and Saturday, Oct 3, for these sessions.

We hope you all will join us for this final event in Carmel and again want to thank all of you for your wonderful support.
