Poodle Day Registration & Information

Note: All registrations after September 23rd are non-refundable.  

Before you register, please carefully read the following important information:

The Crossroads Poodle Parade Info:

  • The event opens on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 8:15 am & the parade starts around 9:30 am
  • Piper: Michel d’Avenas
  • Announcers: Cynthia Buhl (MC) and Gerard Mattimoe (Parade Announcer)
  • The maximum number of dogs at the event is 500
  • Registration cost for parade: $62
  • Registration has been open since August 1, 2025
  • Last day to register is October 2, 2025, by the end of the day, i.e. 11:59 pm PDT.
  • Last day to cancel is September 23, 2025. After that, please contact us for a tax receipt.
  • Last day for changes is also September 23, 2025.

IMPORTANT! You must accept our three conditions when registering for the Poodle Day Parade. Please read these carefully!

1) Registered guests must walk in order by their number. If you wish to walk with someone, please note the group name in your registration. Be on time; we do not announce late attendees. Latecomers are welcome to walk at the parade’s end with no announcement.

Marching will go in the following order:  Toys, miniatures, small mix, large mix, and standard poodles.

  • Prizes will be for each category, one for natural and one for costume, except standards (because there are so many registrations). For standards, there is one prize for natural and costume in the colors of standard poodle (black and grey, white, off-white and cream, apricot, red, and brown, and parti poodles are the final groups).   • Groups will be announced by their name.
  • Participation in the Poodle Cocktail Parties is only for registered guests.

2) The last day to cancel is September 23, 2025 by 11:59 pm PDT. After that, please contact us at events@poodleday.com or  poodledaycarmel@gmail.com for a tax receipt.

3) Your name tag(s) for the parade will be emailed to you between Sept. 28 – 30. Please print it (them) and have it (them) ready for the parade. Lanyards will be on site for your name tag or you may use your own lanyards. Print one name tag for each person in your party.

Other important notes:

1) After you register, please look for your automatic receipts/confirmation emails and other emails from us in your Spam folders, and if using Gmail, also the Social and Promotions folders/categories (if applicable). If you haven’t yet, add our Poodle Day email address, events@poodleday.com or poodledaycarmel@gmail.com, to your contacts/address book. Our emails should not be flagged as spam. If it is in spam, click the button that says ‘not spam’; then next time an email is sent, it should go into your Inbox.

2) Your registration confirmation will always go to the email address entered on the registration form. If you register with one email address but use a different email address in the PayPal payment process or have somebody else pay for you, please check the email you registered with for confirmation. Also, see #1 above. If any of these scenarios apply to you, it is best to check BOTH email addresses.

This applies regardless of whether you pay by card or login into your PayPal account to pay.
To avoid confusion, we recommend using the same email address for registration as in your PayPal account or the one you enter in the payment screen when paying by card.
