Evening Events & Cocktail Parties
When you register, you can purchase a ticket to an evening event or cocktail party along with your registration. You must be registered to buy a party ticket.
Friday, October 2, 2026
NEW PARTY: Chalone Vinyard Tasting Room, located in the Carmel Plaza lower level, Ocean Avenue & Mission Street, Carmel. A special wine tasting event will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This is a happening place with live music, with lots of room for humans and their dogs. They will have a tasting with a grazing board with cheese and charcuterie. The price is $73 per person. The limit per registration is four tickets. Staff will have a list of guests’ names on site.
Poodle Day Pizza Party at Allegro Pizza at the Barnyard, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, located at 3770 The Barnyard, Carmel. This is a casual evening at the Barnyard, where adults, children, and pets can relax in the new garden seating after traveling to Carmel. Allegro has an excellent local owner who has helped NorCal Poodle Rescue. Two large pieces of pizza, Caesar or Green Salad, and one glass of beer on tap, wine, or soft drink. The price is $40 per person. Additional drinks will be happy hour prices: Beer $7, wine $10, and soft drinks $2. A total of 80 tickets will be available for this event. The limit per registration is six tickets. Volunteers will have tickets on site.

Fabulous parties on Saturday, October 3, 2026, will conclude the Poodle Day festivities and allow tired poodles to relax in luxury while their human companions enjoy beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and conversation. Please note that seating is limited at these parties, and you must have tickets to attend.
The Cypress Inn, located at Lincoln and Seventh in Carmel, will host a cocktail party on October 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring fabulous hors d’oeuvres and two glasses of wine, beer, or soft drinks per person. This location will have 100-110 tickets available for this event. The price for this event is $85 per person. The limit per registration is two tickets. The Poodle Day Team members will have tickets on site.
Note: Tickets to the Cypress Inn are NOT guaranteed for people staying there, as we are a separate business entity.
INTRODUCING THE NEW DOWNTOWN LOCATION FOR: VIN By the SEA, located on Dolores St. (between 5th & 6th in Su Vecino Court, Carmel), will host a cocktail party on October 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This fabulous new downtown location is a beautiful setting for a fun and relaxing evening. There will be indoor and outdoor seating, with bits and two glasses of wine to enjoy. The price for this event is $80. This location will have 50 tickets available. The limit per registration is four tickets. Your tickets will be on-site with a Poodle Day volunteer.
The Crossroads Barbecue, located at 241 Crossroads Blvd, Carmel, will host a dinner party on October 3, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Adults, children, and pets are welcome. Additional outside seating will be set up for this event. Three choices for dinner:
- Tri-tip dinner with your choice of two sides, garlic bread, one glass of wine, beer, or craft soda: $30.00
- Smoked Chicken with your choice of two sides, garlic bread, one glass of wine, beer, or craft soda: $26.00
- Kids Meal with drink and choice of hot dog or grilled cheese: $13.00
The total number of adult dinners available will be 100. The limit per dinner type is six tickets. The Crossroads BBQ will have a list of paid attendees.

When we are sold out, and you are interested in being on the waiting list for a cocktail party, please get in touch with us or check the list of available tickets on the “Available tickets and waiting list” page, which we update closer to the event. We always get cancellations.
An advance payment for each attendee is required for all cocktail parties.
You must be registered for the parade to attend a Poodle Cocktail Party.
As noted, the number of tickets available at each location is limited (for exceptional circumstances, contact us directly).
Tickets will be on-site for Allegro Pizza, Mad Dog and Englishman, the Cypress Inn, and VIN By the SEA. The Crossroads BBQ will have a list of attendees.
If you decide to purchase a cocktail party at a later time after you have already registered for the parade, please get in touch with us at events@poodleday.com, and we will send you instructions on how to proceed.
Cancellation policy: The last day to cancel your cocktail party tickets and receive a refund is September 22, 2026. Tickets will not be refunded after that date unless we can sell them at the event—a $25 cancellation fee applies. This fee is per registration, not per ticket.
