POODLE DAY
CARMEL, CALIFORNIA
October 3, 2026
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Parade
- Registration and participation in the Poodle Day parade are limited to poodles and poodle mixes, as well as other dogs who are members of a poodle family.
- All participants must pay the designated registration fee to march in the parade.
- All dogs are to remain on a leash at all times.
- Female dogs in heat are not allowed, of course.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
- We reserve the right to remove people from the event if they or their dog is causing problems for others.
- We reserve the right to refuse registration to anyone who has caused problems for other people at the event in past years.
- Owner names, dog names, and their cities or towns will be announced in numerical order by registration date or by group (as described below). If you are not in line in the order of your number, you will NOT be announced.
- One registration at a time will be announced.
- Poodle and poodle mixes will march with their designated groups (i.e., toy, miniature, small poodle mixes, large poodle mixes, then standard poodles). For multiple poodles in the same family, the first registered poodle will determine the group they march in, and that dog will be judged. Example: An owner registers Ruby, a miniature poodle, first, and Jack, a toy poodle, second. Therefore, both dogs will march in the miniature poodle group. The second dog will not be part of the judging because it is not a miniature. To have the toy judged, the owners will have to walk in individually in each group by registering separately. If you are late and miss your group number, you may walk at the end of the parade, but there will be no announcement. Please do not interrupt the parade.
- The last date for any changes or cancellations is noted on the agreement you sign when registering.
The Poodle Day Team reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions, refuse registration, and deny parade entry at its discretion.

There is a $25 cancellation fee for each registration. You can email us for a refund. After the deadline, if you do not participate in the event, you may request a tax donation receipt. We do try to resell your event tickets, but there is no guarantee you will get these funds back if we are unable to resell them.
