Support and help FAQs
I did not receive the name tag, what shall I do?
1) Look in your spam, junk and/or trash folders. If you use Gmail, also check the ‘All Mail’ folder as well the folders Promotions, Social, and Updates. If our email landed in your spam/junk folders please click on ‘Not Spam’.
2) If you still can not find your name tags, email us at poodledaycarmel@gmail.com.
I did not receive my registration confirmation email, what shall I do?
If you have not received this email, before contacting us, please look carefully in your Spam or Junk folders. If you see the email message in Spam or Junk, please click on “Not spam” or similar link/button, so next time it lands in your Inbox. Also please add events@poodleday.com to your address book.
For Gmail users, additionally to the above please look in the promotions and social folders/tabs and also in “All Mail”. You may have to click on “More” on the left hand navigation to access some of these folders/links. If you still cannot find the confirmation email, please contact us (see below).
How do I get my name tag?
Between Sept. 27th and 30th, a marathon like name tag will be emailed for every registration and all persons walking are listed on one name tag together with the primary registrant. You are responsible for printing your own name tag(s) and bringing it/them to the event. E.g. if you have 4 people in your group, please print 4 copies of the name tag. It prints on a letter sheet and then needs to be folded in half (see photo), so both sides show the name tag. Our volunteers will have lanyards for you on site Saturday morning, or you may also use your own lanyard. We will also have printers on site for those of you who are unable to print your name tags.
What if my name tag does not print correctly?
Please use print preview of your browser before printing. Under ‘Scale’, select ‘Fit to page’, if the double name tag doesn’t show all on one page.
Can my friends and I walk together in parade?
Yes, you can walk together by adding a group name. Up to four people can be announced together, then the next four and so on in your group.
How are we placed in the parade?
The first dog registered determines what category you are assigned to. This is the category you will march under. An order of categories can be viewed here.
What important dates should I put on my calendar?
September 25, 2023: Last day to make changes, for refunds, or to register.
By September 30, 2023: Your name tag will be emailed to you for your ‘own’ printing.
October 6, 2023: Poodle Day dinner and cocktail parties
October 7, 2023: Poodle Day parade, beach play, dinner and cocktail parties
Does Poodle Day have vendors at the event?
No, as it is not included in our agreement to have vendors for the event at the Crossroads.
Does Poodle Day have sponsors?
No, we are a non-profit 501c3 organization that fundraises for NCPR. Registration fees are our main source of funding.
Will Poodle Day happen even if it rains?
Yes, all Poodle Day events will happen rain or shine. So look up the weather forecast beforehand and dress appropriately.
