Good morning, Poodle and Poodle Mix lovers,
We are so excited about this year’s Poodle Day, held in Carmel for the last time!
Please read this carefully, because there are NEW things in this newsletter.
The last day to cancel your registration is September 22, 2026. After this, there will be no refunds issued for parade registration. If you cancel after September 22, 2026, you can contact us for re-sale your party or dinner tickets. If we can resell them, we will refund your payment for the tickets. If not or for parade tickets, please ask us after Poodle Day for a tax donation receipt.
Note: If you are interested in any parties currently for sale. Contact us or please check the available parties page on our website (see below for new party).
Name tags:
We will start e-mailing name tags around September 27, 2026. If you do not received your name tag by September 29:
- Please look in your spam, junk folders. social folders or promotion folders. Remember your name tags will go to the email address you registered under.
- Still can’t find it, please contact us at events@poodleday.com.
- As a very last resort, there will be a printer on site; see map for location of this printer.

Friday, October 2, 2026 – Poodle Day Sessions
Celebrate Poodle Day with a beautiful keepsake portrait! Join us at Crossroads, Suite 250 (next to the coffee shop) for your chance to capture stunning images of your beloved poodle.
Book a private session in advance for a personalized experience or simply drop in for a quick photo shoot on the day. 11:00 to 4:00 pm. Liz Stavrinides is the Official Poodle Day Photographer. Contact Liz to reserve your spot today!
Friday Night-October 2, 2026:
- Allegro Pizza Poodle Party, 5 to 7 pm, located in the at 3770 Barnyard. They will have a list of people’s names and tickets at check in.
- Wrath Tasting Room Poodle Party, 5 to 7pm, located in the Carmel Plaza. They will have a list of people’s names on site and tickets.
- Mad Dog and Englishman Poodle Party, 5 to 7pm, located at SW corner of Ocean and Misson Street. They will have a list and drink tickets for attendees.
- De Tierra Wine Tasting Poodle Party, 5 to 7pm, located at Mission 3SE of 5th in Carmel. A list of attendees will be on site.
Saturday-October 3, 2026:
- Poodle Parade Day opens at 8:00 am and parade starts at 9:30 am, located on The Crossroads Boulevard, off Highway One and Rio Road in Carmel.
- Cypress Inn Poodle Party, 4-6 pm, located on Lincoln and 7th Street. They will have a list and drink tickets on site.
- Vin By the Sea, 4-6pm, located at Delores St. (between 5th and 6th). They will have a list and drink tickets at check in.
- The Crossroads Barbecue Poodle Dinner 5- 7 pm, located at 241 The Crossroads Boulevard. They will have a list of attendees.
- NEW PARTY: Mad Dog and Englishman Poodle Party, 6 to 8 pm, located at SW corner of Ocean and Misson Street. They will have a list and drink tickets for attendees.
If you have friends or family who still want to register, they can do so by Sep. 30, 2026 on our registration page.
Important Notes:
- Please remember you must be present to win and pick up your prize and have your photo taken for our website. For more information on the prizes see the information on our terms and conditions page.
- Photos will only be taken for the winners of the parade. However, there will be the Poodle Day backdrop for selfies.
Volunteers: We can always use help with set up and take down. We appreciate all your help.
Please plan to stay until the end of the parade, there will be a special announcement before the prizes have been awarded:
